RISING PHOENIX
Each spring, Sheepshead features UW-Green Bay students in its “Rising Phoenix” contest. Student work from each category (prose, poetry, visual arts) is examined and judged to be highlighted in the spring issue. Our judges are selected from outside the university and considered artistic/literary “celebrity” judges. With the Rising Phoenix contest, we can recognize our talented UWGB students for their work!

Poetry features the following individuals: Lori Noto, UWGB Alum and four-year consecutive winner of the 2017-2020 Rising Phoenix Contest & Cathryn Cofell, Poetry judge of 2008. Both have flyers with Q/A and include the poems each has either submitted or reviewed.
